Assistant or Associate Professor of Instruction in Neuroscience

Northwestern University’s Department of Neurobiology invites applications for a full-time, benefits-eligible, non-tenure eligible faculty appointment as Assistant or Associate Professor of Instruction, beginning September 1, 2018. Duties include teaching six quarter-long undergraduate courses per academic year or the equivalent in student advising in the Neuroscience major. Minimum qualifications include a Ph.D. in Neuroscience or a related field, which must be conferred by September 1, 2018. Preference will be given to candidates who have demonstrated excellence, breadth, and innovation in teaching. We are interested in candidates whose primary career interest is in undergraduate education.
