Hojoon Lee Selected as a 2023 Brain Research Foundation Seed Grant Recipient

Professor Hojoon Lee has been awarded a 2023 Brain Research Seed grant for his pioneering work on the neural basis for nausea. This prestigious 2-year award supports junior investigators who are pursuing innovative research projects that represent new directions from their established research. Professor Lee’s objectives for this study include selectively labeling and manipulating neurons that are activated during nausea and identifying genetic characteristics of nausea neurons using single-cell transcriptomics.
