On June 8, 2023, Department Chair Ravi Allada announced that the Department of Neurobiology's Yevgenia Kozorovitskiy was named the Irving M. Klotz Research Professor. Dr. Allada noted this honor is "a reflection of [Kozorovitskiy's] high standards and accomplishments in research, teaching and mentorship."

Yevgenia Kozorovitskiy's research seeks to accelerate the understanding of neuromodulation and plasticity in the brain. Her lab's studies will also help facilitate the development of therapeutic applications, harnessing the power of neuromodulators to functionally reconfigure, and sometimes even literally rewire, neural circuits.

Please join us in congratulating Professor Kozorovitskiy on this great honor!
