Dominic Frank (Gallio Lab PhD Student) Awarded Invitation to 65th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting
Dominic Frank, a NUIN graduate student in Professor Marco Gallio’s lab, was awarded a prestigious invitation to the 65th Lindau Nobel Laurate Meeting, which will take place from June 28-July 3 in Lindau, Germany.A record number of 70 Nobel Laureates will congregate to meet the next generation of leading scientists and researchers at the 2015 Lindau Meeting. The US delegation is anticipated to consist of about 55 young researchers (including PhD students and postdocs), selected through a rigorous nomination process from a very large, competitive pool from institutions across the country. The award sponsors students to travel to the annual meeting of Nobel Laureates and covers transportation, lodging, and registration expenses.
