Congratulations to Neurobiology Chair Indira M. Raman, 2023 Recipient of the Landis Award for Outstanding Mentorship

Professor Indira M. Raman, Chair of the Department of Neurobiology, has receieved the Landis Award for Outstanding Mentorship from NINDS. This award honors scientists who have “shown dedication to superior mentorship and training in neuroscience research.” Specifically, this award is given to mentors who have put extraordinary effort into promoting the pursuit of scientific excellence, investing in trainee scientific and professional development, challenging trainees to achieve their full scientific potential, and strengthening the research enterprise by promoting inclusion of people from diverse backgrounds. Professor Raman has worked consistently towards these goals, both locally and internationally. Congratulations again to Professor Raman!
