Breast Cancer Drug Found to Reduce Seizures

Findings from animal study could lead to improved seizure treatment in humans

Neurobiology Professor Catherine Woolley and Post Doctoral Fellow Satoru Sato published an article in eLife titled: Acute inhibition of neurosteroid estrogen synthesis suppresses status epilepticus in an animal model, suggesting a possible new treatment for seizures.
